The lithium-ion cells guarantee consistent performance and prevent both self-discharge and memory effect (capacity loss due to frequent partial discharge). Pleasant soft-touch housing elements provide a non-slip stand on smooth and sloping surfaces. The 18 V / 2.5 Ah Li-Ion battery is suitable for use in all devices of the Kärcher 18 V battery platform.
